Located on The Strand within the Cathedral Quarter of Derby is Derby’s premier Museum and Art Gallery.
Step through the unassuming doorway of a 1960’s building on the corner of The Strand and Cheapside and you step inside centuries of history….and paranormal activity.
Opened in June 1879 this Victorian building housed a vast collection, donated by Derby’s finest citizens, leading philosophers and wealthy benefactors.
The building has been extended several times to accommodate its ever growing collection and now houses Natural History, Military, Fine Art, Archaeology and Ancient Egyptian collections…yes there are Mummies here too.
As experienced paranormal investigators we know that all objects tell a story and can retain energy, here you will be surrounded by residual energy, lots of it.
During our initial walk through we encountered ‘very’ strong areas of energy, experienced physical discomfort, lots of K2 activity and something followed us throughout the building.
The Haunted Heritage Team are experienced museum ambassadors and paranormal investigators whose roots are deeply entrenched in the midlands history and working within museums. For us having the opportunity to work in a venue like this is like coming home…and the energies and entities we are picking up want their stories to be heard…loud and clear.
This is going to be very interesting and exclusive investigating who knows what will happen when the doors are locked and the lights go out.
This is a Haunted Heritage exclusive venue.
Group members will have the opportunity to use a comprehensive range of paranormal investigative equipment such as dousing rods, EMF meters, ‘Ghost Boxes’ (record voice phenomena) as well as participate in séances, glass divination and table tipping sessions.
