Nestling on the edge of West Bridgford five minutes from Trent Bridge is Holmepierrepont Hall a historically significant and beautifully country house. Descending from a Norman family the Pierreponts originally came over with William I in 1066 and settled in Nottinghamshire in 1280 and later acquired wealth which allowed then to build the Tudor manor house you see today which dates back to 1500.
The Hall was requisitioned for military purposes in both World Wars and used for a training camp for young soldiers. The Hall was and left unoccupied between wars.
With colourful ancestral characters leaving their mark, this atmospheric hall has experienced reported sightings and ghostly going ons for many years.
Whilst touring the hall with the owners a female spirit made herself known to our medium, later we came across a beautiful portrait in the main gallery that the medium identified as the lady she had seen.
Haunted Heritage have the privilege of being the first paranormal company to be permitted into the hall and work with the Brackenbury family and their ancestors.
